Have you noticed that days are getting longer, daffodils are starting to show their green tips and the buds on your trees are swelling? Yep, that’s right. Spring is just around the corner, and it’s time to start thinking about putting those first seeds in the ground. Well, maybe not quite yet, but soon!
Here in the Pacific Northwest, late February and early March is the time to start planting early-season veggies like peas, which means it’s not too early to start thinking about what you want to plant and where you will get your seeds.
Our Seed Library can help, and you can help the Seed Library too!
The SEPTL’s Seed Library is holding its annual Spring Seed Swap / Saturday, February 20th. Stop by and trade gardening secrets with fellow gardeners, pick up some free seeds to take home, and if you have some extra seeds to share, bring them in to donate! Your donated seeds help keep the Library stocked throughout the gardening season.
