Steve Couche, the driving force who made SEPTL a reality in 2010, is still out at every opportunity letting our neighbors know about the wonder that is the Tool Library.
On July 26th, Steve will have a table set up at the Division/Clinton Street Fair from 10am to 3pm, and would like to enlist the help of 3 of our members to work with him for one of the two shifts, either 9:30am – 12:30pm, or 12:30 – 3:30pm. Steve will bring the canopy, table, two chairs and the SEPTL banner and brochures. . . all you have to bring is your enthusiasm for SEPTL! Any questions or to sign up, email Steve at firstname.lastname@example.org. And have fun at the Fair!
Then on August 10th, Steve, and the 3 other members who have already signed up, will be at the Buckman Neighborhood picnic from 4 – 8pm at Colonel Summers Park, SE 17th and Taylor.
If you are curious about the tool library, do stop by and chat with Steve and the other members. SEPTL lends its tools FOR FREE thousands of times a year, to thousands of members. Learn more about our sharing community.
