Here’s a news item unrelated to SEPTL, but one we thought would be of general interest to our members.
Mt. Tabor Neighborhood Association will celebrate spring by hosting a FREE Naturescaping Workshop.
Naturescaping is the practice of using native plants to create sustainable landscapes that are good for people, animals and the environment.
The workshop offers a plethora of low-cost, sustainable landscaping tips & resources for all levels of do-it-yourselfers who are just itching to dig up fresh ideas for their yards, gardens and outdoor spaces.
You’ll learn how to design a low-maintenance, chemical-free landscape that conserves water and minimizes pollution, all while saving you time and energy!
You’ll get natural gardening and landscape design tips, take a field trip to a nearby naturescaped garden, and receive a comprehensive workbook and a native plant to get started!
